This past Tuesday, we worked on Hammer, Chokey Chant, School Song, and Naughty. We have also started rehearsing from the top of the show. The kids are doing an AMAZING job!
A playlist has been created on YouTube (unlisted), that will have all the choreography videos that are needed for the cast to use to practice. Click the box above titled “Choreography Videos”.
When a new video is added to the playlist, a Remind will be sent.
It is imperative that your child practices by listening to the music, going over the script and practicing with the videos. They will be asked if they have practiced throughout the week. There is always a possibility that your child may be pulled from a scene if they do not practice and do not come prepared. So come prepared and ready to work! =)
Also, since we have been dancing and moving around a lot more, please make sure your child wears deodorant. Thank you! =)

Thank you to everyone who came out and gave great auditions, it made the task of casting very difficult.
If you were a part of a show last semester you may recall that we had several students unable to perform in their shows due to illness. After thinking and praying about this I have decided to double cast a few main roles; Matilda, Mr. and Mrs. Wormwood, and Miss Honey. Not only will this give more opportunity, but it will also give the cast some assurance in case of illnesses.
What does this mean? Well… This means that if you are cast as one of those characters you will perform 2 shows as the named character and be ensemble or help backstage on off-night. I am getting super excited and just know we will have an AMAZING production that I feel may be one of Spark’s best shows yet!
