Acrylic Painting
Tuition: $135/Supply Fee $30 (one-time fee)

Course Description: This is a week long camp where students will enjoy a hands-on approach to learning the basics of acrylic painting. We will explore a variety of painting techniques as we apply that to an original work of art. Concepts covered: acrylic painting techniques, types of brushes and uses, vocabulary, and a review of elements/principles of design, creative thinking, and practical painting skills. At the end of the course, students will produce several paintings that demonstrate their growth.
Drawing and Watercolors

Course Description: This is a week long camp where students will enjoy a hands-on approach to the basics of watercolors and drawing. We will explore a variety of techniques as we experiment with creating original works of art. Concepts covered: watercolor techniques, types of brushes and uses, types of drawing media, shading/value, a review of elements/principles of design, creative thinking, and practical painting skills.
Sculpting

Ages 12+
Course Description: Students will explore sculpting using wire, clay, and paper to create unique works of art. Students will gain an appreciation for sculpture by learning basic techniques and using their own creativity in this hands on course.
Cartooning
Tuition $135 | Supply fee $30 (one-time fee)

Dates: July 26th-July 30th
Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm
Ages: 12+
Course Description: We will be using shapes as frames and building blocks to creating a cartoon character. Using the method of sketching and building cartoon characters using shapes and guidelines. Train the students to be relaxed and less tense when drawing, creating more limber and fluid drawings and cartoon characters. Set up guidelines for the face and body. Mastering exaggerated facial expressions, cartoon hands and feet.
Use of motion lines to have character less stiff and more fluid. Shading techniques with pencil. Placing final lines and erasing sketch lines with pencil and also giving an inking demonstration to students.
Final objective - create a final piece of artwork to share with the class whether it is a comic book cover, a comic strip, or any other type of cartoon drawing the student chooses to create using the methods learned for the week. The creativity is entirely up to the student for the piece they wish to draw.

Class Description: Immerse yourself into the world of makeup & special effects and learn the different techniques, tools and skills necessary to create your own Fantasy Identity. While exploring the magic of Body Art, in this creative workshop you will learn the art of stage and movie makeup and you will be introduced to the process that takes part in the creation of props and prosthetics.
