August 3rd and 4th, students will have a modified schedule. Will let you know by Wednesday.

Friday, July 28th
2:30 PM ONLY these characters need to arrive for make-up: Asaka, Agwe, Papa Ge and Erzulie
Arrive with hair done .They will need to put costumes on first before getting make-up done.
ALL OTHER CAST MEMBERS ARRIVE AT 3:00PM
Hair and Make-up information
Aska: Curled/ half up/half down. Bring curling iron and brush for touch ups if able to. Make-up will be done at the theater. Come wearing basic foundation and mascara.
Erzulie: Curled/ half up/half down. Bring curling iron and brush for touch ups if able to. Make-up will be done at the theater. Come wearing basic foundation and mascara.
Agwe: One French braid. Bring a brush for touch ups. Make-up will be done at the theater. Come wearing basic foundation and mascara.
Papa Ge:Hair slicked back (with gel). Bring brush and gel for touch ups. Make-up will be done at the theater.
Mama: Braid rolled into a low bun. Light basic makeup (foundation/powder/blush/ mascara)
Ti Moune: Double french braids. Light basic make-up
Villagers: Girls wear hair in single french braid or double braids. Make-up is light foundation/powder/blush/ mascara
Grand Hommes: Girls hair, half up/half down in any fashion. Small braids brought around the head, small ponytail, with rest of hair down, whatever you’d like. Light basic makeup (foundation/powder/blush/ mascara)
3:00PM ALL OTHER CAST MEMBERS: Must arrive with basics on and hair and make-up complete.
Please bring a hair brush with their name on it for touch ups or if you need help with the French Braid. Anything that they bring, please label.
Please have your child eat a snack before arriving for call time.
CAST PARTY: They will have a cast party on location, Friday, after the 4:30 show/ before the 7:00 show. That will be dinner. We will be serving pizza and other side items. If you haven’t sent money already, please send $6 per child to cover the cost of the food. We have volunteers that are picking up the food items and throwing the party for the cast. Money can be sent via cash or Venmo to @Lani-Simonton.
If you are not attending the 7:00pm show, pick up will be at 8:15pm.
Show grams will be given to students after the last show on Friday. Please stop by the concession stand to purchase a show gram for your child. It is by donation only and the kids LOVE receiving show grams!

Costume Basic Info:
What are costume basics?
Actors wear “basics” under their costumes so that they can comfortably change in front of other cast members backstage, to complete a look for certain costumes, and even to protect our costumes from getting torn or stained. The costume basics your child is asked to wear will depend on his/her costume. Below is a list of characters, find your child’s character, and next to the name is what costume basics that need to have. Please do not assume that you can get away with wearing something different than what is listed. Their costume won’t look right or won’t match the other cast members.
Grand Hommes: White tank top, white or nude color biker shorts, jazz shoes
Ti Moune: Black biker shorts, nude tank top, jazz shoes
Asaka: Black biker shorts, nude tank top, jazz shoes
Agwe: Black long sleeve shirt, Black biker shorts, jazz shoes
