Description: The cast of JTF had the privilege of watching Inspiration Stage present this new work at the Junior Theatre Festival in California in February. We can’t wait to bring “Frozen” to the Spark stage!! Don’t miss this fantastic new musical!!
*Summer production camps are the perfect way to experience theatre! Students will go through the entire process of auditioning for parts, rehearsing blocking, learning dialogue, choreography, and music, as well as staging, working with props and set, and finally, putting on performances for family and friends! We keep the students engaged and busy learning, socializing, and having fun for the full three weeks. Production camps are a participant favorite and will surely be the highlight of your child’s summer! *No experience required
Jungle Book

Description: A Spark favorite! This is the first time we have offered a Junior production in just two short weeks! This production is for young actors that are looking for a challenge. Once on this Island is an absolutely beautiful story that explores a wide array of emotions and human experience. With many featured roles and a large ensemble, you do not want to miss this dynamic production!

After completing this camp, you will be prepared to take the next step in participating in your very first production!
Improv Theatre Camp

Description: This is the camp you don’t want to miss! We are throwing it way back to the 1950’s through hit songs like "Greased Lightnin'" and "We Go Together,” recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. Starting off with an eight-year Broadway run, Grease is among the world’s most popular musicals and has a cult-like following, especially among teens! This camp will end with a showcase Friday the 12th at 7:00 p.m.

Description: Step into the jungle with Jungle Beats! This camp features the very best jungle musicals - Madagascar, The Lion King, and Jungle Book. Students will learn music, choreography, and acting skills as well as play games and create jungle art work. With fun songs like “Hakuna Matata,” “I Wanna be Like You,” and “I like to Move it Move it,’ this camp promises to pack in all the fun. Description: “If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good!” We can’t think of anything more fun than Dr. Seuss at Spark! Students will learn, memorize, and act out poems from Dr. Seuss, create Seuss inspired art work, and learn music and choreography from Seussical the Musical. “You’re off to great places, Today is your day! Description: You asked for it - we are bringing it to you! Many of our younger students have fallen in love with Shakespeare as they have watched the teens in our Shakespeare program perform in Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Much ado About Nothing and Twelfth Night. This camp will break things down to a beginning level and help kids to grasp and understand the brilliant writing of William Shakespeare. This camp ends in a small class presentation at the end of class on the last day.
Choreography Workshop

Description: Do you struggle with learning choreography? Many of our theatre students have admitted that dancing is their weakest point when it comes to musical theatre. Many artists “missed the boat” on taking dance lessons and now feel too behind to develop in this area of performing. During this choreography workshop, students will learn to master many of the basic steps that are used in oodles of shows. Spend the week getting comfortable with your two left feet!

Auditioning is one of the greatest hurdles that every young actor will have to learn to overcome. The very idea of an audition can keep many students from having amazing experiences and achieving their personal potential. Prepare for the upcoming semester with this Audition clinic! Students will learn valuable techniques and polish their skills. We will arrange for students to have professional headshots taken, help them with creating a resume and putting together their “repertoire” book! The session will end with constructive mock audition with a panel of professionals!
