Notes for Tuesday, June 1st

Call Time is 5pm

Please review lyrics. Lots of dropped lines in “It’s Hot Up Here”. All of the chorus missed cue in the last part of “Putting it Together” (That is the state of the art…)

Costume/ Make-up Notes:

READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH

*Everyone should wear antiperspirant/deodorant, undershirts, and changing shorts. No exceptions!

*Everyone should either have character shoes or shoes specific to character and bring them.


*Boys: please wear dress socks not athletic socks.

*All Boys: base, powder. Some boys will wear beards/mustache


All girls: base, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, blush, a nice rose lip color.

Girls: should have hair in style of pictures on show page. Either character specific, or select one that works with your hat. Link to Hairstyles

*All girls should wear nude/skin tone dance tights/hose. No exceptions!


*Louise: needs socks

Waitresses: should either keep hair up or wear pony tail. No exceptions.

All costumes must be hung up after each use. Not thrown on floor. Period.

Hair and Make-up:

All girls should come in full make-up, in style of show and with hair up. For hair style examples, please click on this link and look for your characters name. Hair Style Examples Link

Boys: Please come with SOME make-up.

Very important that you wear proper undergarments, as we will taking pictures.

We will run RED cast first, then BLUE cast. Rehearsal begins at 12.





Student Bio Form. Must complete by Saturday, May 29th

Before Our first tech May 28tH 12-6:00 PM

Everyone is called at noon. EVERYONE must review lines and music before Friday. At this point it is entirely unacceptable for any cast member to be uncertain of their exact lines. We expect professionalism on and off stage. Please be prepared to work hard during tech and conduct yourself accordingly. Also the following people need to take (or retake) pictures for the playbill; Alex Chung, Matthew Kalmans. Please wear black shirt to rehearsal Friday.

May 22nd: Rehearsal 9:30-2pm.

Wear Black for Playbill headshots. Some students have retakes.

Also, wear proper undergarments, we will be doing some costuming.


MAY 11th: ALL CALLED

PLEASE BE ON TIME SO WE CAN START RIGHT AT 10 AM. Also, we will be taking headshots for the Playbill, so please be prepared to have picture taken.

1:00-2:00 PM review act one with students coming out of quarantine.

2:00-5:00 PM Begin Act 2 pages 123-137. Please start listening to Act 2 music and review with rehearsal tracks. I expect everyone to be familiar with “Its Hot Up Here” and know their lines through those pages. Here is the link to the dropbox that has the rehearsal tracks.

PS: EVERYONE MUST BE OFF BOOK FOR ACT 1. THERE WERE SEVERAL STUDENTS THAT WERE NOT LAST WEEK AND AT THIS POINT THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. PLEASE COME THIS SATURDAY AND KNOW YOUR STUFF. IT IS UNFAIR TO THE REST OF THE CAST.

I also need to know who is in town for spring break March 13th & March 20th so I know who to call and what scenes to try to stage.
