Y’all have such an amazing show! I am so excited! Tech Week begins Monday 5/1 at 5 pm sharp at The Local Church in Tomball. The address is:
*Monday-Wednesday 5/15 Tech 5-8:30 pm
•Set, Props, Lights, & Sound
(Wear comfortable clothes & bring a snack and water. Please bring basics in case we try costumes on.)
*Tuesday- 5/16 Tech 5-8:30 pm
•Add Costumes (Please wear your basics, shoes, and have your hair and light makeup done)
(No jewelry. Please bring a snack and water)
*Wednesday- 5/17 Tech 5-8:30 pm DRESS REHEARSAL!

April 26th:
Thank you for all your hard work last night. I know it was a long day with Star Tests and rehearsal. Y’all are troopers!
**You DO NOT have rehearsal next week because two other casts have their Tech Week and performances.
**You WILL have TWO rehearsals the next week on Tuesday 5/9 & Thursday 5/11 from 5-8 pm at The Met.
(I know not everyone will be able to do the Thursday rehearsal but if you’re available, please come!)
Homework:
• Please memorize your lines! You still aren’t completely memorized, so don’t neglect this!
•Practice Choreography. We’re still reteaching because it’s being forgotten. Please practice at home.
April 21st:

We had a great rehearsal Tuesday, but some cast members still need to memorize their lines.

2. Memorize and be off book
3. Practice and memorize all lyrics.
April 13th:
Our show is coming together! We only have 3 rehearsals left until our Tech Week and shows.

Dear Parents and Cast,
Thank you for your hard work on Tuesday! We talked about making sure that there is practice time going on at home during the week so that we aren’t having to reteach choreography, blocking, and music each week. It’s really hard to remember it if students aren’t going home and practicing. Thank you so much for your help with this.
This week only certain students are called to rehearsal. The names below are the students that are CALLED for rehearsal on Tuesday, February 28th. If your name is ON the list, YES you are needed on the 28th. If your name is NOT on the list, you have the night off.

Please remember to practice your dances, lines, music, and lyrics at home this week!
Also, several students are not bringing a snack so please try to remember to pack one.
Lastly, please bring your scripts to every rehearsal. A couple of you are forgetting and you need it!

Concentrate on memorizing your lyrics and lines from the songs and scenes we’ve completed, which is Prologue through scene 3, and half of Scene 4. You are all doing great!

Congratulations Tuesday Matilda Cast! I am so proud of all of you. Your auditions were fabulous and you made casting extremely hard. We will do a read through/sing through on Tuesday and begin learning our music. Please bring a pencil and highlighter to rehearsal along with your snack.
