Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet (Homeschool)
Wednesday: 12:00-2:00 p.m.
In this class students will be introduced to William Shakespeare's classic tragedy Romeo & Juliet through an abridged version specifically for young actors. Students will audition, learn the language, and rehearse the play. Then, they will experience the play the way it was intended-in performance! April 29th.
Musical Theatre (Pre-k - 2nd)

Is it a bird? It is a plane? No…It’s Spark Kids taking to the stage in a whole new way! This spring we are featuring a SUPERHERO--Super Training Course for the young super stars of tomorrow’s stage! This class is a mixture of mighty-movement, daring-drama, magical music theory and a whole lot of fun! Your super hero will FLY to the stage at Spring Showcase where his/her exposure to performing will be just enough to give him the confidence to audition for a “big show.” when they are ready. Watch your child discover their true identity through this class as they will also build self-esteem, self-control, coordination, stretch their imagination, develop talent and improve communication skills.

Acting Skills
Wednesday 5:30-6:30
Acting Skills: This class is designed to help students build and develop their acting skills, whether it is their first time onstage, or they have been performing for years. This class will meet them where they are at. Through improvisation, script work and voice and movement exercises students are introduced to the fundamentals of performance. Special emphasis is placed on interpretation and translation of the dramatic script as the basis for exploration of characterization, and motivation. Beyond that, the class will provide students the opportunity to strengthen their powers of focus, imagination, creativity and empathy.
