For Spring 2023 we will be auditioning every student for the program and placing them into productions by level (unless you received an invitation via email). We will be considering age, skill level, past performance/behavior, commitment, and best opportunity for growth when placing students. Spark will always place the best interest of each child at the heart of casting decisions. Students will be placed in one of three performance companies.
Sparks
Sparks are young artists who are eager to learn, have great attitudes, and are focused on learning and developing skill and confidence. Our goal for this program is to give each child the best opportunity to grow and shine in a nurturing environment. Sparks will be comprised of a mixture of ages and levels of experience. We will be focused on creating or building on a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the performing arts.
Stars
Stars are comfortable with the fundamentals of performing and have shown commitment, aptitude, and work ethic. Stars will also be made up of a variety of ages and experience. Our emphasis in this program will be to expand on skills that have been mastered, learn how to work faster and more efficiently through material, build confidence and stage presence, and prepare for conservatory.
Conservatory
Our conservatory students are seeking a pre-professional experience in theater. Students are prepared, disciplined, and capable. Previous experience is required for conservatory. We welcome artists who are passionate about theater and love to work hard and be challenged to achieve their full potential. We look forward to offering opportunities for our conservatory students to perform in various exciting venues throughout their experience.

Audition Tips:
*Make sure you "slate" properly. A slate is an introduction that states your name, age, and the titles of the pieces you will be performing for your audition. Example:
Hello, my name is Sam Singer.
I am 16 years old.
I will be doing a monologue from the play "You're Gonna Love This" by "Pete Playwright" and I'll be singing "Song" from the musical "Musical".
*Nerves are normal. Just try to remember that the people on the audition panel want you to succeed and do an incredible job!
